Connecting to Reed1x on Windows

Reed has 4 wifi networks. We are currently moving from Reed1x and Reed Xenia to Reed and Reed Guest, however this transition will take time so some locations will have either Reed1x and Reed Xenia or Reed and Reed Guest.

  7. Now you are ready to connect! Enter your username and password - The same credentials you use for email and IRIS.

Reed Guest and Reed Xenia

Both of these networks are for guests. The connected method is the same for either. The PIN password created will also be the same PIN for both ReedXenia and Reed Guest.

  1. Select ReedXenia or Reed Guest from your list of wireless networks.
  2. Open a web browser and you will automatically be directed to Reed's network registration page.
  3. Reed community members (students, faculty, staff, and alumni) can use their Kerberos credentials to log in.
  4. Members outside the Reed community should click "Register as Guest'' and enter a name and e-mail address or phone number. You can then log in using your e-mail address as the username, and the numerical password e-mailed/texted to that address or phone number.
  5. After registering, you may be warned by your browser that you're being redirected; this is normal as we redirect you to Reed's homepage, and you can ignore any such warning.
